Nature always wears the colors of the spirit. Nature is not a place to visit, it is Home.
Nature gives, gives & forgives. Overpopulation, pollution, Global warming,
Climate change, Genetic modification, Ocean acidification, water pollution, Deforestation,
Acid rain, Ozone depletion these are some important issues what we are facing today.
Farmers cut down trees to make their farms. It is a benefit for them, but not to necessarily
good for forests. Farming, mining, hunting and urbanization are some human activities
that negatively affects Ecosystem. Deforestation in temperate forests have obviously
had a large impact on species. These activities contributes in climate change too. The
large know contribution comes from burning of fossil fuels, which releases CO2 to
the atmosphere.
Deforestation is one of the main threats for humans. It can have a negative impact on the
Environment. The most dramatic impact is a loss of habitat for millions of species.
According to the survey 3.5 billion to 7 billion trees are cut down per year. That equates
About 2.47 million trees are cut down every day. Just think! About 12% of all man-made
Climate emissions now comes from deforestation, mostly in tropical areas.
In wedding season, paper works will be more as in invitation cards, save the date cards
And so on. What we do is, we’re taking an important step to make less usage of papers.
An important step for making a wedding green always starts with the minimal to no
usage/ waste. Green wedding is an initiative taken from the couples where they try to
decrease the impact of their event on the planet. Couples plan their wedding by integrating
eco-friendly alternatives, such as eco-friendly invitations, flowers, dress and more.
The Recycling of paper is a process by which waste paper is turned into new paper products.
It is less energy and water intensive than paper made from wood pulp. Eco-friendly wedding
invitations are simple yet elegant. Good thing is it is customizable & cost-effective too!
Botanical papers are available in the market. Botanical papers/ plantable papers.
Also knows as seed paper because it is made with post-consumer material, meaning that
no new fibers were be used in the production of paper. Plantable paper is bio-degradable made
with post-consumer materials and embedded with seeds. When the paper is planted in a pot soil,
the seeds grow and the paper composts away. All that is left behind is flowers, herbs or vegetables
and fruits. No waste. It’s easy, Eco-friendly, bio-degradable. It is Amazing. Isn’t it? As I have mentioned
earlier, there are few startups in the town who provide an idol of lord ganesha with the invitation card.
When the idol is planted in the pot of soil, gives birth to a tree that can decorate someone’s backyard for life.
This is an amazing initiative I feel. Understanding these facts, is the first step towards saving trees.
We should Save Trees to Save Earth so that we can live without disturbing the nature. GO GREEN.
